I noticed you are into cycling culture, so thought you would be interested to help.

My name is Ira Cooper and I am with an organization called Global Agents for Change. This summer 16 other riders and I are biking from Amsterdam to Istanbul to spread awareness about global poverty, discuss sustainability issues, open a international dialogue as well as raise funds for micro-credit, which helps small businesses and entrepreneurs in developing countries start and expand their small businesses.For more information on the ride and micro-credit please check out: www.globalafc.org.

In the past rides, accommodations such as gymnasiums, government buildings, churches and kindergartens have been generously donated to lodge our 16 riders. This year we are also looking for accommodations. I understand that 16 is a lot of people, so we are more than willing to split up into two groups if necessary. We also can use parks and lawns, as we do have tents with us. If you have any connections, please send them my way. We would be happy to discuss with anyone what we are doing and what is micro-credit.

We are also interested in possibly speaking with someone from the local community about social activist projects that go on in the city. Any social cause/involvement would be wonderful, we would just love to talk and find out how other people are helping out around the world.
